મનુષ્યનું ઈશ્વર પ્રત્યે સારો વિચાર રાખવો તે તેની તેમનાથી (ભલાઈની) ઉમ્મીદ રાખવી તે છે.

ધન્ય છે એને કે જે ઈશ્વર માટે પોતાનું જ્ઞાન, કાર્ય, પ્રેમ, નફરત, સ્વીકારવું, ત્યાગવું, કથન, અને મૌન સમર્પિત કરી દે!
Blessed is the one who dedicates their knowledge, action, love, hatred, taking, relinquishing, speech, and silence for God!
શ્રદ્ધાળુ માટે સન્માન તરીકે આટલું જ પૂરતું છે કે જ્યારે તે કંઈક ખોટું (થતું) જુએ ત્યારે ઈશ્વર તે (શ્રદ્ધાળુ)ના દિલથી (ખોટી બાબત પ્રત્યે) તેનો અસ્વીકાર જાણી લે.
It is honor enough for a believer that when they see something wrong, God knows the rejection of it in their heart.
જે ઈશ્વર પાસે પ્રાર્થના કરે છે તેની પ્રાર્થના સ્વીકારાય જ છે.
Whoever prays to God, their prayer is surely answered.
ખરેખર ઈશ્વર સેવકથી (એ બાબતમાં) સંકોચ અનુભવે છે કે તે તેની તરફ (પ્રાર્થના માટે) બન્ને હાથ ઉઠાવે તો તે તેમને (હાથોને) નિરાશ કરીને પાછા ફેરવી દે.
Indeed, God is reluctant to turn back empty and disappointed the hands of a servant raised toward Him in prayer.
અને હું ચોક્કસપણે જાણી ચૂક્યો છું કે તારા નિર્ણયમાં કોઈ અન્યાય નથી, અને તારી સજામાં કોઈ ઉતાવળ નથી. ઉતાવળ તો એ જ કરે છે જેને તક ગુમાવી દેવાનો ડર હોય, અને અન્યાય કરવાની જરૂરિયાત તો માત્ર કમજોરને જ હોય છે. જ્યારે કે હે ઈશ્વર! તું તો આ બધી બાબતોથી ઘણો સર્વોચ્ચ અને મહાન છે.
I have indeed known that there is no injustice in Your judgment, nor haste in Your retribution. Haste is made only by one who fears missing an opportunity, and injustice is needed only by the weak; whereas You, O God, are far exalted above all such things.
ઈશ્વર પાસે માગો અને ખૂબ વધારે માગો, કારણ કે કોઈ વસ્તુ તેના માટે મોટી નથી.
Ask of God and ask abundantly, for nothing is too great for Him.

જ્યારે પૂછવામાં આવ્યું કે, "તમે તમારા ઈશ્વરને શાના વડે ઓળખ્યો?" ત્યારે કહ્યું, "નિશ્ચયના રદબાતલ અને ઇરાદાના ભંગાણ વડે. મેં એક નિશ્ચય કર્યો તો તે રદબાતલ થઈ ગયો, અને મેં એક ઇરાદો કર્યો તો તે ભંગ થઈ ગયો."
When asked, "By what did you recognize your God?" he replied, "By the nullification of resolves and the breaking of intentions. Whenever I made a resolve, it was nullified, and whenever I made an intention, it was broken."
ઈશ્વર પાસે જે કંઈ છે તે પામી શકાતું નથી સિવાય કે તેની આજ્ઞાપાલન વડે.
That which is with God cannot be attained except through obedience to Him.
ઈશ્વર વિષે સૌથી વધુ જ્ઞાન ધરાવનાર તેનાથી સૌથી વધુ ડરનાર છે.
The one who knows God the most is the one who fears Him the most.
તમે (ઈશ્વરથી) જે કંઈ માંગો છો તેને વધારે ન માનો, કારણ કે ઈશ્વર પાસે જે છે તેના વિષે તમે જેટલું વિચારી શકો છો તેનાં કરતાંય વધારે છે.
Do not consider whatever you ask from God to be too much, for what God has is greater than whatever you can imagine.
જ્યારે પરલોકમાં ઈશ્વરના દર્શન વિષે પૂછવામાં આવ્યું ત્યારે એક જ્ઞાની પુરુષે કહ્યું: ઈશ્વર આના કરતાં ઘણો ઉચ્ચ અને મહાન છે! આંખો માત્ર એવી જ વસ્તુને જોઈ શકે છે જેને રંગ અને આકાર હોય, જ્યારે કે ઈશ્વર તો રંગો અને આકારનો સર્જનહાર છે.
When a wise man was asked about seeing God in the hereafter, he replied: God is far exalted above that! Eyes can only perceive what has color and shape, whereas God is the creator of all colors and shapes.
સર્વશ્રેષ્ઠ શ્રદ્ધા તે છે કે તું જાણી લે કે ઈશ્વર તારી સાથે જ છે, તું જ્યાં પણ હોય.
The best faith is to know that God is with you wherever you may be.
ઈશ્વરની આજ્ઞાપાલનમાં કંઈપણ એવું નથી જેમાં માણસ અણગમો અનુભવતો ન હોય.
There is nothing in obedience to God that a person does not feel some reluctance toward.
ક્યારેય નહીં! ઈશ્વર પોતાના સ્વર્ગ વિષે છેતરતો નથી, અને ન તો તેનો રાજીપો તેની આજ્ઞાપાલન વગર પામી શકાય છે.
Never! God cannot be deceived regarding His paradise, nor can His pleasure be attained except through obedience to Him.
એક સેવકનો ઈશ્વર પર સુંદર ભરોસો તેની ઉપર રહેલા તેના વિશ્વાસના પ્રમાણમાં હોય છે.

How great is God's forbearance toward His enemies, and how abundant is His forgiveness toward His transgressing servants!
ખરેખર, ઈશ્વર ઉદાર-દિલ, નમ્ર, સદાચારી, અને સંતુષ્ટ વ્યક્તિને પ્રેમ કરે છે.
Indeed, God loves a person who is generous-hearted, modest, virtuous, and content.
ઈશ્વરની સાથેના મનમેળનું ફળ લોકો વચ્ચે એકલતા અનુભવવી છે.

ઈશ્વર સિવાય દરેક જ્ઞાની અધ્યેતા (શિખાઉ) જ છે.
Except for God, every knowledgeable person is merely a learner.
બેશક ઈશ્વર તેના કરતાં વધારે સર્વોચ્ચ, પ્રતાપી અને મહાન છે કે તેના ગુણોનાં મૂળતત્ત્વ સુધી પહોંચી શકાય, તેથી તેના તે જ ગુણો વર્ણવો જેના વડે તેણે પોતાનું વર્ણન કર્યું છે અને તેના સિવાયનું વર્ણન ટાળો.
Indeed, God is far too exalted, glorious, and great for the essence of His attributes to be comprehended, so describe Him only as He has described Himself and refrain from anything beyond that.
ઈશ્વરે સૃષ્ટિનું સર્જન તેને એકલી છોડી દેવા ખાતર નથી કર્યું, અને તે તેનો ઉપયોગ પોતાના ફાયદા માટે પણ નથી કરતો.
God did not create creation merely to leave it forsaken, nor does He use it for His own benefit.
બેશક ઈશ્વર સૌથી વધારે સહિષ્ણુ અને સૌથી વધારે જાણનાર છે, તેનો ક્રોધ તો ફક્ત એના ઉપર જ હોય છે જે તેની પ્રસન્નતાને સ્વીકારતો નથી, એને જ વંચિત કરે છે જે તેની કૃપાને સ્વીકારતો નથી, અને એને જ ભટકાવે છે જે તેના માર્ગદર્શનને સ્વીકારતો નથી.
Indeed, God is the Most Forbearing and the All-Knowing; His wrath is only upon one who does not accept His pleasure, He deprives only one who does not accept His bounty, and He leads astray only one who does not accept His guidance.
બેશક ઈશ્વર તમારાં શરીરો, વંશ, કે માલને નથી જોતો પરંતુ તે તમારાં દિલોને જુએ છે, તો જેનું દિલ સાફ હશે તેના પર ઈશ્વર દયા કરશે.
Indeed, God does not look at your bodies, lineage, or wealth, but He looks at your hearts; so whoever has a pure heart, God will have mercy upon them.
તે વિવેકી નથી જે પરમ કૃપાળુ ઈશ્વર સિવાય કોઈ બીજા સમક્ષ પોતાની તકલીફની ફરિયાદ કરે.
One who complains of their distress to anyone other than the Most Merciful is not wise.
ઈશ્વરના ગુણોના સંદર્ભમાં: દિલોની કલ્પનાશક્તિ આંખોની દ્રષ્ટિ કરતાં ય વધારે ઝીણવટભરી હોય છે, તમે તમારી કલ્પના વડે સિંધ, હિન્દ, અને તે દેશોને પણ નિહાળી શકો છો કે જ્યાં તમે ન તો પોતે ગયા છો કે ન તો જેમને તમે તમારી આંખો વડે જોયા છે. તો પછી તે ઈશ્વર તો એવો છે કે તેને તો દિલોની કલ્પનાશક્તિ જ નથી જોઈ શકતી તો આંખોની દ્રષ્ટિ તો કઈ રીતે તેને જોઈ શકે?!
Regarding the attributes of God: the imagination of hearts is far subtler than the sight of eyes. Through your imagination, you can perceive Sindh, Hind, and lands you have never entered or seen with your eyes. So when the imagination of hearts cannot encompass Him, how could the sight of eyes possibly perceive Him?!
જે પોતાના શરીરની અયોગ્ય ઇચ્છાઓ પર સંયમ રાખે છે તે પોતાના ઈશ્વરને પ્રસન્ન કરે છે, અને જે પોતાના શરીરની ઇચ્છાઓ પર સંયમ નથી રાખતો તે પોતાના ઈશ્વરની અવગણના કરે છે.
Whoever restrains the desires of their body pleases their Lord, and whoever does not restrain their body disobeys their Lord.
બેશક ઈશ્વર પોતાના આત્મસન્માની સેવકને પ્રેમ કરે છે.
Indeed, God loves His self-respecting servant.
જે માણસ ઈશ્વરની આજ્ઞાનું પાલન કરે છે તેને તે લોકો -- જેના ઉપર તે ગુસ્સો કરે છે -- કોઈ નુકસાન પહોંચાડી શકતા નથી.
A person who obeys God cannot be harmed by those with whom he is angry.
તમે ઈશ્વરની બેપરવાઈથી છેતરાઈ ન જાવ, કારણકે જો ઈશ્વર કોઈ વસ્તુ વિષે અજાણ હોત તો તે રજકણ, અથવા રાઈનું દાણું, કે મચ્છર હોત!
Do not be deceived about God's vigilance, for if God were ever heedless of anything, it would have been a dust mote, a mustard seed, or a mosquito!
કોઈ પણ માણસ ઈશ્વર દ્વારા તૃપ્તિ નથી મેળવી લેતો સિવાય કે લોકો તે માણસના આશ્રિત બની જાય છે.
No one finds contentment through God without people becoming in need of him.
જ્યારે ઈશ્વર કોઈ વ્યક્તિને ભલાઈ આપવાનો સંકલ્પ કરે છે તો તેના દ્વારા કામ લે છે; તેના મૃત્યુ પહેલાં તેના માટે કોઈ સત્કાર્યનો માર્ગ ખોલી દે છે જેથી તેની આસપાસના લોકો ખુશ થઈ જાય.
When God intends good for a person, He puts them to work; He opens the door to a good deed before their death so that those around them are pleased.
ઈશ્વરના સ્મરણને સાંભળનાર (પણ) સ્મરણ કરનાર સમાન છે.
One who listens to the remembrance of God is also among those who remember.
