અય માણસ! તું નાની મુસીબતની ફરિયાદ કરી રહ્યો છે, જ્યારે કે તું મોટી મુસીબતથી ગાફિલ હતો. કાશ કે તું તારા દીકરાની ગુમરાહીના કારણ વિષે સાવચેતી વર્તી લેતો, તો તને ફરિયાદ કરવી ન પડતી! તારી સાવચેતીને છોડવાની મુસીબત, તારી દીકરા વિષેની મુસીબત કરતાં વધારે મોટી હતી.
O man! You grieve over a small misfortune while being heedless of the greater calamity. If only you had taken precautions regarding the reasons for your son's misguidance, you would not have had to grieve so intensely! Your calamity in abandoning precaution is greater than your calamity regarding your son.
