માણસની શ્રદ્ધા ત્યાં સુધી સંપૂર્ણ નથી થતી જ્યાં સુધી તેને કોઈ વસ્તુની કમી તેના વધારા કરતાં ગમતી ન હોય, એ સુદ્ધાં કે તેને તે પોતે ન ઓળખાય તે (બાબત) તે ઓળખાય તેનાં કરતાં વધુ પ્રિય ન હોય.
A person's faith is not complete until having less of something is dearer to them than having an abundance of it, and even to the extent that remaining unknown is dearer to them than being known.
