જે માણસ પોતાના માટે ઈશ્વરે કરેલી ઉત્તમ પસંદગી પર ભરોસો રાખે છે, તે ક્યારેય એવી પરિસ્થિતિની ઈચ્છા નથી કરતો જે ઈશ્વરે તેના માટે પસંદ કરેલી પરિસ્થિતિ સિવાયની હોય.
He who trusts in the excellence of God's choice for him never wishes to be in any state other than the one God has chosen for him.
જ્યારે તમારામાંથી કોઈ પ્રાર્થના કરે તો તેને સર્વવ્યાપક બનાવી દે (પોતાની સાથે બીજા શ્રદ્ધાળુઓને પણ શામેલ કરે), જેથી તે પ્રાર્થના કબૂલ થવા માટે સૌથી વધુ લાયક થઈ જાય.
When one of you prays, let them make it comprehensive (including other believers alongside oneself), so that the prayer becomes most worthy of acceptance.
ખરેખર લોકોમાં સૌથી વધુ જ્ઞાની તે છે જે ઈશ્વરના ફેંસલા પર સૌથી વધુ સંતુષ્ટ રહેનાર હોય.

જેને પ્રાર્થના કરવાની ક્ષમતા આપવામાં આવી છે તે ક્યારેય સ્વીકૃતિથી વંચિત નહીં રહે.

ક્યારેય પણ આવું નથી થયું કે એક જ્ઞાની પુરુષે કંઈક થઈ ગયા પછી આવું કહ્યું હોય, 'જો આનાથી જુદું થયું હોત તો!'
