ખરેખર ઈશ્વર સુંદરતા અને શણગારને પસંદ કરે છે, અને અસુંદરતા તથા કદરૂપતાને નાપસંદ કરે છે. જ્યારે ઈશ્વર કોઈ ભક્તને કૃપા આપે છે ત્યારે તેના પર તેની અસર જોવાનું પણ પસંદ કરે છે. પૂછવામાં આવ્યું કે, "એ કેવી રીતે?" ઉત્તર આપ્યો, "સ્વચ્છ કપડાં પહેરીને, સુગંધ લગાવીને, ઘરને વ્યવસ્થિત રાખીને, આંગણાને સાફ કરીને, એટલે સુધી કે સૂર્યાસ્ત પહેલાં દીવો પ્રગટાવીને જે ગરીબીને દૂર કરે છે અને આજીવિકામાં વધારો કરે છે."

Truly, God loves beauty and adornment, and dislikes misery and squalor. When God bestows a favor upon a servant, He loves to see its trace upon him. It was asked, 'How is that?' He replied, 'By wearing clean clothes, applying fragrance, keeping the home in good repair, sweeping the courtyard, and even lighting a lamp before sunset, which dispels poverty and increases sustenance.'

જ્યારે એક માણસને જોયો કે જેના માથાના વાળ અસ્તવ્યસ્ત, કપડાં ગંદાં, અને હાલત ખરાબ હતી, ત્યારે કહ્યું: આનંદ મેળવવો અને કૃપાઓને પ્રગટ કરવી સદ્ગુણનો હિસ્સો છે.

Upon seeing a man whose hair was disheveled, clothes were dirty, and condition was poor, he said: Enjoying good things and displaying blessings is part of virtuous living.

નુકસાનકારક દુર્ગંધને પાણી વડે સાફ કરો, આવી રીતે તમે તમારા શરીરનું ધ્યાન રાખી શકશો. કારણકે બેશક ઈશ્વર તેના સેવક ઉપર લાગેલી ગંદકીથી નફરત કરે છે જેની દુર્ગંધને તેની સાથે જે બેઠો હોય તે સૂંઘી શકે.

Cleanse offensive odors with water, for in this way you take care of your body. Indeed God dislikes the dirt on His servant whose foul smell affects the person sitting beside him.
