A human asking from another human is a trial. If he gives him, he praises one who truly gave him nothing, and if he refuses him, he blames one who did not really withhold anything from him.
When God loves a servant, He immerses them in tribulations. Then, when the servant prays, God says, 'I am here, My servant! If I hasten what you asked for, I am able to do so, but if I delay it, what I have stored for you is better for you.'
When you see that God is sending you one hardship after another, know that He is awakening you.
People are slaves of this world, and religion is merely something on their lips as long as their livelihood is secure; but when they are tested by hardship, the truly religious become very few.
Poverty is a treasure with God. God tests with it only those believers whom He loves.
