તારી ઈચ્છાઓ ઓછી કર જેથી તારા માટે ગરીબાઈ સરળ થઈ જાય, અને તારા પાપો ઓછા કર જેથી તારા માટે મૃત્યુ સરળ થઈ જાય.
Lessen your desires so that poverty becomes easy for you, and lessen your sins so that death becomes easy for you.
નિઃસંશય જે વસ્તુનો અંત આ (કબ્ર) છે, તો ખરેખર તેની શરૂઆત (દુનિયાની મોહબ્બત)નો ત્યાગ કરવો જોઈએ. અને નિઃસંશય જે વસ્તુની શરૂઆત આ છે, તો ખરેખર તેના અંત (પરલોક)થી ડરવું જોઈએ.
Indeed, something whose end is this (the grave) truly deserves to have its beginning renounced. And indeed, something whose beginning is this truly deserves to have its end feared.

A believer can die in any manner: by drowning, being crushed, being attacked by a predator, or struck by lightning, yet lightning does not strike the one who remembers God.
નેકી તરફ ઝડપથી આગળ વધો, અને મોતના આવી જવાથી ડરતા રહો, તો જ તમે શ્રેષ્ઠ મહત્વાકાંક્ષાને પામશો.
Hasten toward good deeds and remain mindful of the suddenness of death; only then will you attain the highest hope.
ઈશ્વરના સાચા સેવકો બધા જ મોતને સાથે રાખનાર હોય છે, મહત્વાકાંક્ષાઓને જુઠલાવનાર હોય છે, તેમની નેકીઓ પુષ્કળ હોય છે, અને તેમની ભૂલો ઓછી હોય છે.
The true devotees of God always keep death in mind, dismiss false worldly hopes, perform abundant good deeds, and commit few errors.
