જે માણસ કોઈ બીજાનાં રહસ્યને ખુલ્લું પાડશે તેનાં પોતાનાં જ ઘરનું રહસ્ય જાહેર થશે, જે અત્યાચારની તલવાર ઉઘાડશે તે પોતે તેના વડે જ નાશ પામશે, જે પોતાના ભાઈ માટે ખાડો ખોદશે તે પોતે જ તેમાં પડશે, જે મૂર્ખાઓ સાથે ભળશે તે અપમાનિત થશે, જે વિદ્વાનો સાથે મેળમેળાપ રાખશે તે પ્રતિષ્ઠિત થશે, અને જે ખોટી જગ્યાએ જશે તેના ઉપર આક્ષેપ જ લાગશે.
Whoever exposes the secrets of another, the secrets of their own home will be exposed; whoever draws the sword of oppression will be destroyed by it; whoever digs a pit for their brother will fall into it; whoever mingles with fools will be disgraced; whoever keeps company with scholars will be honored; and whoever enters bad places will be accused.
