જે માણસ કોઈ મૂર્ખને મૂર્ખતા દ્વારા જ જવાબ આપે (તેનો અર્થ એ કે) તે રાજી થઈ ગયો તેને જે આપવામાં આવ્યું તે બદલ, એટલા જ માટે તેણે તે મૂર્ખનાં ઉદાહરણનું જ અનુસરણ કર્યું.
Whoever responds to a fool with foolishness has accepted what was offered to them, and thus followed the fool's example.
