જો જોનાર (દ્રષ્ટા) અને જોવાયેલી વસ્તુ (દ્રશ્ય) વચ્ચે પ્રકાશનું જોડાણ હોવું અનિવાર્ય માનવામાં આવે, તો તેનાથી સામ્યતા (સર્જનહાર અને સર્જન વચ્ચે સમાનતા) હોવી પણ જરૂરી બની જાય છે; જ્યારે ઈશ્વર આવી કોઈ પણ સામ્યતાથી મુક્ત અને પવિત્ર છે. તેથી એ સાબિત થાય છે કે તેમને ભૌતિક આંખોથી જોવું અશક્ય છે; કારણ કે કારણોનું પરિણામો સાથે જોડાયેલા હોવું જરૂરી હોય છે.
If a connection of light is deemed necessary between the observer and the observed, it necessitates a resemblance (between the Creator and creation); whereas God is free and pure from any such resemblance. Therefore it is proven that seeing Him with physical eyes is impossible, because causes must be connected with effects.
