હૃદય ત્રણ પ્રકારના હોય છે: સંસારમાં તલ્લીન હૃદય, પરલોકમાં તલ્લીન હૃદય, અને ઈશ્વરમાં તલ્લીન હૃદય. જ્યાં સુધી સંસારમાં તલ્લીન હૃદયની વાત છે તો તેના માટે પીડા અને મુસીબત છે. જ્યાં સુધી પરલોકમાં તલ્લીન હૃદયની વાત છે તો તેના માટે ઉચ્ચ દરજ્જાઓ છે. અને જ્યાં સુધી ઈશ્વરમાં તલ્લીન હૃદયની વાત છે તો તેના માટે સંસાર પણ છે, પરલોક પણ છે, અને ઈશ્વર પણ!
Hearts are of three types: a heart preoccupied with the world, a heart preoccupied with the hereafter, and a heart preoccupied with the Lord. As for the heart preoccupied with the world, for it is hardship and affliction; as for the heart preoccupied with the hereafter, for it are high ranks; and as for the heart preoccupied with the Lord, for it is the world, the hereafter, and the Lord!
